In fact, when two “Paiges” sparred with one another on social media in February, the “Playing A Round” podcast host weighed in on the bizarre ordeal.

“I can’t make this up. Fake me is calling out the other fake me,” she tweeted about the exchange, which include a phony Spiranac stating to the other, “Who do you think you are?”

Spiranac, who boasts nearly four million Instagram followers, previously highlighted the red flags fans can be on the lookout for if they suspect they’re engaging with an imposter account.

“Is the message coming from an account under my name that has zero followers, it is not me, that is a fake account,” she said in a November video.

Spiranac also said, “If this person insists on talking to you on WhatsApp or Google Hangouts, it’s not me.”

“If they show you a badly Photoshopped passport, driver’s license, or an old picture off of my Instagram to prove that it’s me, it’s not me.”

Spiranac concluded her social media lesson by providing the handles of her actual accounts, including her Instagram persona of @_paige.renee.
