The bride absolutely sparkled.

Bruce Melvin and his girlfriend of five years, Ingrid Holmes, are enjoying sudden celebrity in their hometown of Jacksonville, Fla. after a charming video of their watered-down Dec. 3 wedding ceremony — held inside a car wash — was unveiled earlier this week.

In a 2-minute clip aired on News4Jax, the joyous couple are seen seated in the front seat of their car, while a marriage officiant is perched behind them.

The nuptials were performed once the vehicle began to move through the car wash.

“We are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony,” the officiant read.

The Florida lovebirds, who met at a speed dating event in Jacksonville, opted out of the traditional formal wedding attire and wore casual clothes.

Melvin, 64, an Operations Engineer for News4Jax, sported a blue athletic shirt with an Atlanta Braves hat, while Holmes, 61, wore a blue floral print shirt with her hair pulled back.

While exchanging vows, the pair kept their black sunglasses on, appearing excited if overwhelmed as they tried to remember to look both at the camera and each other.

The officiant proceeds to ask Melvin the big question and he responds humorously.

“This woman, yes. Yes, I do,” he said, pointing at Holmes as they laughed.

And Holmes replies in a similar manner when asked the same question, keeping the serious manner light-hearted.

“Absolutely, 100%. Love this guy!” she exclaimed.

The unconventional ceremony featured colored lights beaming into the vehicle, soap suds sliding down the windows, and loud sounds from the wash tools banging against the “venue,” which sometimes overpowered the couple’s vows.

Melvin and his blushing bride wanted to think outside the box — and save a bundle — for their special day.

“When we started looking into prices, we thought it was just crazy to spend all that money,” Holmes told The Post. “My first marriage, I had eloped and it was amazing in every way.”

“So I have unlimited car wash and wash my car every day, and we were going through the car wash discussing prices and venues. Bruce said, ‘Why don’t we just get married going through the car wash!’”

The video concludes as the freewheeling twosome exchange wedding bands — signifying a new beginning, or a clean slate.
