Francisco Lindor, wife ring in Mets offseason with vasectomy: ‘His turn’

Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor’s wife, Katia, gave him a hilarious basket of treats for undergoing a vasectomy, she revealed in an Instagram post Wednesday.

“Three beautiful children later, we decided our family is complete. ❤️” Katia wrote, including a behind the scenes video of her assembling a snack basket with jokes referencing the procedure. “I’ve carried the babies, now it was his turn to take one for the team. 😂🙌🏽 Love you, babe! 🥰”

The couple are parents to daughters Kalina Zoé, 5, and Amapola Chloé, 3, and 18-month-old son Koa Amani.

This surgery comes after Lindor and the Mets finished last place in the National League East with a 74-88 record and missed the postseason for the second consecutive year.

Katia showed a handmade card that said, “Snip snip hooray it’s vasectomy day!” with the date of Oct. 14, 2026.

Another card said, “It’s a whole new ballgame Happy Vasectomy Day!”

Inside, it read, “Paquito, Thank you for taking one for the team! Blessed with the best teammate,” including the message, “No more babies.”

Katia’s post was set to the song, “Bye Bye Bye” by NSYNC.

Katia included some snacks with a few jokes such as, Chips Ahoy, which she switched to “Snips Ahoy” — and a box of Sour Patch Kids that had a “No more” sign on it.

“Yeah, done,” he said.

“He’s home and we’re giggling together,” Katia wrote.
