Gisele Bündchen is reportedly expecting her third child, her first with her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente.
The news comes exactly two years after the former Victoria’s Secret model finalized her divorce from ex-NFL superstar Tom Brady.
On Monday, People reported that the model and former Mrs. Tom Brady, 44, and the martial arts teacher, 35, are welcoming a baby, citing a source.
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” the source told People.
The Post has reached out to a representative for Bündchen.
Bündchen has two children with her ex-husband Tom Brady, son Benjamin Rein, 14, and daughter Vivian Lake, 11.
Bündchen and Brady divorced on Oct. 28, 2022 following thirteen years of marriage. They share joint custody of their children.
Bündchen reportedly first met Joaquim Valente when she took jiu-jitsu lessons at his academy in 2021.
Rumors began to swirl that Bündchen and Valente were dating in November 2022, after the pair visited the Costa Rican province Provincia de Puntarenas with her two kids.
At the time, the pair denied they were romantically involved. However, a source told People in February 2024 that Bündchen and Valente began dating in June 2023.
“They’re taking it slow,” the insider told the outlet at the time. “They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other.”
Another source said of Joaquim, “He was a huge comfort for Gisele while she went through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce.”
“[Gisele] is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there,” someone close to Bündchen told People in June, adding that the model had “blossomed” since she and Brady broke up.
