Hallmark star Mamie Laverock, 19, is “doing well” after being placed on life support, according to a condition update from her family.
On the 19-year-old actress’s GoFundMe page, which has raised over $33,000 for her medical bills to date, Laverock’s parents, Rob and Nicole wrote, “Mamie is out of her big surgeries and the doctors say she is doing well. It’s impossible for us to be happier. Thank you all for your support.”
As her parents previously explained on that page, earlier in May, Laverock, who has appeared in the Hallmark show “When Calls the Heart,” previously spent two weeks in “intensive treatment” in the hospital due to an unspecified medical emergency.
During that time, the young actress “was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories,” per the fundraiser page.
“She sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries and is currently on life support,” Laverock’s parents wrote.
“We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.”
When The Post reached out to Hallmark Media for comment about Laverock being placed on life support, they replied with a statement: “We are deeply saddened to hear the news about Mamie. As a beloved member of our ‘When Calls the Heart’ community, we wish her and her family peace, comfort and many prayers during this difficult time.”
Before “When Calls the Heart,” Laverock made her debut in the 2012 rom-com “This Means War” starring Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hardy and Chris Pine. She also appeared in “A Series of Unfortunate Events.”
“When Calls the Heart” (airing Sundays at 9 p.m.) is based on a series of books of the same name, and has aired on Hallmark since 2014. It follows a teacher (Erin Krakow) working in a small coal mining town.
Laverock stars as Rosaleen Sullivan, a nursing student whose father was killed in a mining accident. Between 2014 and 2023, she appeared in nine episodes.
Following the initial news that Laverock was on life support, the show’s star, Krakow, 39, took to Instagram asking her followers to donate to the fund. “I just donated,” she wrote with a broken heart emoji. “If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too. Link in bio.”
Johannah Newmarch, who plays Laverock’s on-screen mother Molly Sullivan, also posted about Laverock on X (formerly Twitter).
“I love this family, my heart is broken. A devastating time for all who care for Mamie. Please help if you can,” Newmarch, 52, wrote on May 27. “They need all the support they can get to make it through this.”
Season 12 of “When Calls the Heart” films in July.
