Amy Poehler is bringing her Golden Globe-winning podcast “Good Hang” to New York City’s Town Hall on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Event Tickets Center speculated that Daniel Radcliffe, Melissa McCarthy, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and her longtime “SNL” boss Lorne Michaels are all potential candidates for the one-off at Town Hall.
Really it could be anyone though.
Recent “Good Hang” guests run the gamut from writers (Anne LaMott) to wrestlers (John Cena) to comedy superstars (Will Ferrell).
More than anything though, “Good Hang” is…a good hang.
“Poehler approaches each conversation from a more personal perspective, instead of strictly professional,” The Denver Post wrote in a review of the celebrated podcast. “The vibe is jovial; topics are served with a smile and, more often than not, a laugh. The good vibes are simply contagious.”
In the event you can’t make this show, fellow “SNL” alum Ana Gasteyer will also be at Town Hall this year. On Friday, Dec. 4, she’ll bring her annual ‘Sugar & Booze – Holiday Spectacular’ live show back to Midtown.
A month after that, former “SNL” writer John Mulaney has nine (!) shows scheduled all over Manhattan in January starting small at the Comedy Cellar before wrapping his stint in the City at Madison Square Garden.

What is Amy Poehler’s new TV show about?
“Dig,” which will premiere on Peacock in November 2026, is about four archaeologists “digging” at an excavation site in Greece when they stumble upon something that irrevocably changes their lives. The sitcom is based on Kate Myers’ novel “Excavations” that Poehler had been reading.
Hugh Laurie (“House”), Geraldine Viswanathan (“Blockers”), Fina Strazza (“Paper Girls”), Antonia Thomas (“The Good Doctor”) and Kayvan Novak aka Nandor in “What We Do In The Shadows” will co-star.
Perhaps, most excitingly, this series reunites Poehler with her “Parks and Recreation” show-runner Michael Schur.
“When Amy says she wants to do something, my ears always perk up,” Schur told The Wrap. “Amy and I obviously were partners for seven years on a show that changed both of our lives and which we both had have nothing but fond memories of, and the idea of collaborating with her again is a dream.”
