I didn’t want my tacky ring tattoo lasered off — so I had it cut out

If she didn’t like it, perhaps she shouldn’t have put a ring on it.

A woman wanted to remove a pesky tattoo on her finger because she later regretted it.

However, she didn’t want to laser it off — so she had it cut out instead in a process called “tattoo excision.”

A United Kingdom plastic surgery group called UK Skin posted a video of the procedure on their TikTok 3 days ago.

“A faster way to remove your tattoos 👀,” reads the caption on the video, which has more than 1.4 million views.

In the clip, the surgeon injects anesthesia into the unidentified woman’s finger before cleaning and prepping the area for surgery.

They then put a green sheet with a hole on top of her hand before cutting off the tattoo, stitching up the finger and placing a bandage over it.

People rushed to the comments section of the video to poke fun at the procedure.

“What 😃 like u prefer to cut ur skin rather than do 2 sessions of laser ?? Hell no and it was so tiny,” one said.

“Uhhhh seems excessive,” added another.

“Now, what an earth would you do with a full Arm Sleeve?” a third questioned.

UK Skin jokingly replied: “I’d purchase a new arm.”

While some pointed their fingers in shame, others said they were interested in the surgery.

“I ALWAYS THINKED OF THIS, AND IT ACTUALLY EXIST !?” wrote one amazed commenter.

“I would do the same,” said another.

In order to avoid an unwanted tattoo, one could decide not to get one in the first place, or think a bit harder about the decision.
