A former lawyer who altered her appearance with $300,000 worth of plastic surgery alleges that government workers questioned her identity when she went to renew her driver’s license.
Brazilian beauty Denise Rocha — who quit her courtroom career to pursue modeling — says employees at São Paulo’s transit department were convinced she was a different person when they compared her current face to her previous license photo from 2018.
“They didn’t believe it was me,” the 39-year-old told NudePR in an interview on Friday.
“I understand their work and I know they really need to check it out, but it was a really funny situation and I didn’t expect it.”
In recent years, Rocha has revolutionized her appearance thanks to a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures.
In addition to Botox, filler and phenol skin-peeling treatments, the stunner has also had a rhinoplasty and three boob jobs.
Rocha looks drastically different from her old license photo, with her lips now noticeably larger. She also has a new shape to her cheeks, a new nose and a more refined jawline.
Transit department workers were so stunned by Rocha’s transformed look that they asked her to produce a second piece of photo I.D.
The former legal eagle pulled out her Brazilian Bar Association card, which confirmed her identity.
“I never imagined that my procedures would make me go through this,” Rocha revealed. “I know I [have] changed but [them asking if I was myself] was unthinkable for me.”
Despite such minor inconveniences, the beauty says she loves her new look.
“I’m very happy with the results, and I’m completely convinced that this may cause people some strangeness, but it turned out the way I wanted,” she enthused.
Rocha also has no regrets about leaving her law career behind, as she now boasts 4.8 million followers on Instagram, where fans fawn over the beauty’s plastic fantastic looks
As one simply wrote beneath a recent post: “Too beautiful!”
