I took my eyes off my toddler for just a minute — I was shocked when I caught him in destruction mode

A mom walked into her living room to find her little boy had covered the entire sofa in skin cream.

Mpho Rambuwani, 30, couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw what her son, Murisa, then two, had been up to while her back was turned.

Mischievous Murisa had squirted an entire tube of eczema cream all over the leather sofa.

As she walked in, the tot was caught red-handed covered in the cream — and continued shamelessly rubbing it into the sofa despite Mpho’s protests.

Mpho, from Johannesburg, South Africa, said the sofa was pretty much brand new — and she spent hours scraping it off to try and save it.

“I found Murisa with the cream lathered all over the couch,” she said. “I wasn’t even gone five minutes and that was what I came down to!”

“I was furious — you could see the guilty look on his face,” she continued. “He was so shocked I had caught him — he didn’t know what to do. I did manage to save the sofa but it took me so long.”

Mpho said the incident, which happened on November 22, didn’t permanently damage the sofa.

And it’s still the couch they use today, two years on.
