She’s marriage material — if only she was fit enough.

A TikToker was gobsmacked to receive a “crazy” message from a supposed Hinge match who ended their brief relationship via text, saying that his “life revolves around staying fit.”

She interpreted his message as “being told that I’m too fat for this guy,” despite planning to run a half-marathon this week.

The creator, Sophie Barnello, shared a screenshot in a since-deleted TikTok video — which has since been reposted on X by the account Catch Up — as her friend reads the lengthy text aloud.

The anonymous bachelor kicked off the long message by describing how much he “enjoyed talking” to Barnello and spending time with her over a few weeks.

“I think ur [you’re] so gorgeous and naturally beautiful and I want to stare at ur smile all day long,” he fawned. “Ur [you’re] perfectly goofy and don’t take urself [yourself] too seriously, ur [you’re] so caring and have a lot of love and energy to give and I can see that every day.”

Barnello said she only went on three dates with the guy before he broke things off. Catch Up/X

Despite all Barnello’s datable qualities, he still couldn’t connect with her — at least not physically.

“The hard part is I thought it was tough to have a really good physical connection that matches everything else between us,” he admitted.

“I know it sounds terrible to say and like I have no right at all but I have to be honest because my life revolves around staying fit.”

According to the text, he had been considering the lack of physical attraction and how to let her down easily for some time, saying he was “dreading sending” the message.

But, even after a few dates, he ultimately decided it was “just not the right time” to be in a relationship with her.

She filmed herself enjoying a meal, saying her Hinge match would likely be “upset” to know she was eating. Catch Up/X

“Even with that said I would love it if u [you] reached out at some point in the future,” he continued, “and I could very easily see if you grinded hard for 6 months or a year or whatever it is I honestly think I would marry you.”

Barnello admitted she “did cry a lot” after receiving the message and “being told that I’m too fat for this guy.”

She said that she debated not eating the day after she received the text while showing footage of herself noshing on a meal, which would “probably” make him “upset.”

“I’m going to lose 20 pounds and I’ll see him and we’re going to get married,” joked Barnello, who admitted she wasn’t going to respond to the message.
