Idris Elba is sharing the tense atmosphere after his daughter Isaan didn’t play a role in his latest film beast Due to lack of chemistry in the camera

After not getting the part, Elba said that his daughter didn’t speak to him “for about three weeks”.
It was producer Will Packer who had to inform Isaan that she would not act with her father because he saw her as his “little niece”. Packer coaxed Elba not to go down the path of nepotism and asked producers to put their daughter “through the rope” in the audition process.
“She auditioned with him [and] He was very tough on that,” Packer said. ,[Elba] Said, ‘Listen, at the end of the day we are going to make the best decision for the film. I trust you, Will, trust the director,’ and she was very, very close.”
Packer said that “some of the nuances of that real-life relationship sometimes don’t translate to the screen.”
Elba also supported her daughter for being “very kind” about the process and accompanying her to the film’s premiere. Packer hopes that everyone will “definitely be seeing” Isaan in a movie soon.
