A French TikToker continues to catch praise for her swift glow down as part of the catfish challenge.
The poster, who goes by the username @nonam9444 on TikTok, uploaded a nine-second clip showing herself sporting magnifique hair, makeup and nails before cutting to what she typically looks like most days.
Her hair is pulled back, and she doesn’t appear to be wearing makeup in the unflattering angle. She also seems to have a straw pressed against her lips — not in a sexy way.
Social media users applauded her honesty in the comments of the video, which recently resurfaced after its initial posting in 2020. It’s netted more than 371,000 views.
The #CatfishChallenge has been popular on TikTok for years. Women compare photos of themselves dolled up with makeup and filters to pics of themselves bare-faced.
The version from @nonam9444 was celebrated for its relatability.
“We’re all like that, don’t be [crazy]. Sometimes we’re worse!” one TikToker admitted.
“Finally a girl who takes responsibility,” another fawned.
“I’m not the only one then,” a third cheered.
Other “catfish” videos have sparked criticism and disbelief.
In one stunning clip, makeup whizz Jessy Volk shows a picture of herself with perfect volume curls and dramatic eye makeup against a less glam photo. “Wow that literally isn’t you,” one commenter wrote.
Canadian mom Chloe Fountain, meanwhile, seems to take years off her appearance using makeup and tape.
