Oh, baby!
A mom and influencer is taking credit for 150 births — and counting — after passing along some steamy advice by way of a sex “challenge” during an Instagram Live video.
Evidently, many of her followers took the recommendations.
Sara Buckley, a 36-year-old Las Vegas content creator and podcaster, became quite the hit in January of 2021 when she aimed to heat things up for couples and “put the challenge out there to just encourage wives to intentionally, sexually pursue their spouse for seven days.”
“Get yourself ready, mentally, physically, spiritually, whatever you need to do, in order to commit to a week of basically ‘the nasty,’” Buckley, known online as “Not The Worst Mom,” told The Post.
“My advice was to try to have sex every day … Then in between actual copulation, send sexy messages, send sexy pictures, if you’re comfortable,” she added, mentioning that telling men they are good fathers and husbands was also advised.
But the real gifts that kept on giving — women sending in photos of their positive pregnancy tests and, later, pictures of their kids — began pouring in steadily one week after issuing the challenge, Buckley claimed.
“They just kept rolling in,” she told The Post. “If I could go back, I wish I would have started, like, a f–king spreadsheet.”
To date, Buckley says there are 150 confirmed kids across eight different nations, a dozen pairs of whom are twins. However, she believes that 200 is likely a more realistic head count — especially after a recent re-posting of the challenge on her TikTok.
Those kids are now called “Sara’s tots” — Buckley received confirmation of another as recently as Thursday — and they have a dedicated story highlight on her Instagram regarding their own origins.
However, Buckley insists that the challenge “originally had nothing to do with getting pregnant, whatsoever.”
“I didn’t specify to use birth control, because I didn’t think I had to,” she joked to The Post, expressing a strong desire for a group photo with all the tots someday.
“I was really surprised with how many women were willing to take this on … There is not a group of people that deserve regular sex more than like a wife and mother,” she said, adding that so many testimonials from moms were incredibly heartfelt.
“A lot of stories [moms told us were] like, ‘We struggled with infertility, we lost our last pregnancy and just decided, it isn’t in the cards for us anymore.’”
Buckley — who admittedly has spent hours crying in joy because of the seeming baby boom — said the challenge was inspired by her own successful romance with her husband, Sterling, a 39-year-old engineer with whom she spent years raising their four now-teenage kids.
“Sex for us, personally, has kind of come easy,” she said of liaisons with her high school sweetheart and podcasting partner for “Not The Worst Marriage.”
“We’ve always talked on the podcast that it’s something that requires intention after a certain amount of time,” she revealed. “I think the longer you’ve been together, the truer that statement becomes and sometimes we just need a little bit of a reminder … That’s what the challenge became.”
Not that the intention was for ulterior motives, but she quickly noted the almost guaranteed benefits wives and moms would become privy to thanks to the extra hay rolls.
“You’ll wake up Saturday morning and those curtains that you wanted hung for the last few months? They’ll be up,” Buckley said of apparent spousal enthusiasm for household tasks.
But, rest assured, those men don’t feel taken for granted — especially the many whose wives didn’t tell them where their sudden source of TLC came from.
And those who did know were more than grateful, too.
“I definitely got a few messages from husbands that were. like. ‘Hey, thanks.’”
