Jamie Foxx reportedly ‘still not himself’ following mysterious health crisis

A source close to Jamie Foxx claimed Wednesday that the actor is “still not himself” after suffering a mysterious illness in April that landed him in the hospital.

“He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself,” the unidentified source told People. “He has the tightest circle around him.”

The news comes a mere hours after Foxx, 55, chatted with co-star John Boyega, 31, who had been trying to contact his friend several times.

“He finally picked up the phone. Thank you, bro,” the “Star Wars” actor told the outlet at the premiere of “They Cloned Tyrone,” which stars both Boyega and Foxx.

“He’s doing well. And then, you know, we just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return,” he said.

“I gave him the well-wishes directly. I gave him all the well-wishes,” continued Boyega. “So I’m just gonna be waiting until he comes back out here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”

Datari Turner, who co-produced the film with Foxx shared a sunnier update claiming that the “Spiderman” actor would soon be back at work.

“He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself," the unidentified source told People. "He has the tightest circle around him."
