Josh Allen wasn’t a fan of Travis Kelce’s approach to shooting his shot with Taylor Swift.
When speaking with Allen on her FanDuelTV series “Up and Adams,” host Kay Adams brought up Kelce’s plan to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it and asked the Bills quarterback — who has been seen with actress-singer Hailee Steinfeld — if he “had any advice for players who want to attract superstar talents.”
Allen, 27, let out a laugh and said, “Not friendship bracelets.”
Kelce, 33, had the internet buzzing when he detailed his Swift strategy to his brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, during an episode of their “New Heights” podcast last month.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce said of the “Cruel Summer” singer, whose blockbuster Eras Tour made a pitstop in Kansas City in July.
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets and I received a bunch from being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”
Kelce joked that he “took it personal” when Swift, 33, didn’t meet him.
“… She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal, but it was an unbelievable show,” he said while Jason laughed.
As for Allen?
Adams, who had a playful banter with Allen throughout the interview, joked that she “deserved an award for not asking about [his] love life.”
Allen made headlines in May when he was photographed exiting a black SUV with Steinfeld, 26, in New York City.
It came after rumors swirled that he and his longtime girlfriend, Brittany Williams, had called it quits after she quietly unfollowed him on social media.
Allen and Steinfefld, who have been spotted out and about in New York together, vacationed in Mexico during the Fourth of July holiday.
Allen made rare comments about his love life on Thursday, when he was asked if he’s seen headlines about “making out with his girlfriend on vacation” after they were first linked in May.
“The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind,” Allen said during an appearance on the Barstool Sports podcast, “Pardon My Take,” before revealing that he witnessed a paparazzi taking photos during the getaway.
“They were on a boat,” he recalled. “I saw it and I just felt this gross feeling.
“It was like insecurity, no privacy. It was like, ‘What is wrong you?’”
Allen and Steinfeld have yet to verbally confirm their romance.
The Pro Bowl quarterback also hasn’t addressed his split from Williams.
