Kate Middleton’s soured relationship with estranged brother-in-law Prince Harry has reached an all-time low, and it won’t be improving anytime soon, according to a royal expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sensationally shut the door on royal life in 2020 and hightailed it across the pond to California — forcing the Prince and Princess of Wales to pick up the “extra workload.”

And as the rift between the foursome continues to rage on, royal commentator and expert Jennie Bond says Kate will not be the one to “hold out an olive branch” in time for Christmas.

“Catherine was deeply hurt by some of the things Harry said about her, particularly in his book, and unfortunately because of these entrenched positions where neither side seems to want to make contact or the first move, I can’t see this rift healing any time soon,” Bond told The Sun’s Fabulous.

Kate, who reportedly took on the middle-man role in the past to bring William and Harry’s once-strong relationship back on track, is reportedly not looking to do the same again.

“Catherine has played the peacemaker in the past and has brought William and Harry together, and I think that comes from her own family, and their values,” Bond said.

“But I think she has got to a stage whereby she has had to take a step back. Things have gone too far, and she feels upset and, quite frankly, hurt and insulted.”

The “Reporting Royalty” author said there won’t be a royal reconciliation before the festive season.

“I think Catherine was hurt by Harry [and Meghan’s] claim that she made Meghan cry during a fitting for Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress, and again by Meghan’s view, which was relayed by Harry, that she found Catherine and William standoffish, a bit cold, when they first met,” she said.

“After all, we have seen that Catherine is more than ready to give people a hug — even people she has no connection with and will never see again.”

“We must remember that Harry once described Catherine as the sister he never had. Now it seems she is the sister-in-law he no longer wants to see,” Bond added.

Bond said that the Princess of Wales has “not only been badly hurt by the personal attacks on herself but those aimed at her husband and the wider royal family too.”

“I think Catherine and William have jointly decided that they will carry on with family life and work, and for most of the time, they don’t think about Harry very much, and I expect vice versa,” she shared, adding, “I can’t see an olive branch being extended from either side any time soon.”

The Invictus Games founder penned a series of scathing words about his sister-in-law in his memoir, as well as some revelations about his apparent feud with Prince William.

In the book, he branded his older brother his “arch-nemesis,” accused the royal family of mistreating Meghan, and revealed private details of Meghan and Kate’s wedding dress-fitting dustup.

The book’s release coincided with the pair’s Netflix docuseries, in which they detail behind their decision to ditch the UK.
