Luka Doncic’s nasty split with ex-fiancée takes surprising turn

Luka Doncic’s surprising split from his former fiancée has taken yet another stunning turn.

Anamaria Goltes submitted a request to dismiss her petition for child support from the Lakers superstar on Monday, just a few months after she first filed for it, court records viewed by the California Post on Tuesday show.

“I am withdrawing my Petition for Child Support,” Goltes wrote in a statement to a Los Angeles County court, “with the specific intention of resolving this matter amicably and by a mutual agreement which is in the best interests of our children.”

In her request for dismissal, Goltes wrote she was seeking to pull the matter “without prejudice,” meaning she would like the option to refile at a later date if necessary.

The request was not immediately granted by the court, as officials wrote the document was missing Doncic’s signature.

Goltes initially opened her child support case against Doncic on March 9. She did not indicate a reason for the request, but she did write in her filings that was not looking for any sorts of custody orders.

Doncic — after confirming he and Goltes had broken up — hired famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser to represent him in the court battle with his ex, and it didn’t long for the “Disso Queen”-nicknamed lawyer to try to get the case tossed.

On March 20, Wasser filed a motion to quash and/or dismiss Goltes’ petition, writing that Goltes’ “California Petition is a clear attempt to forum shop and avail herself of the generous amounts of child support for which California is well-known.”

She added that Goltes had been withholding their children from Doncic, “which necessitated his filing of a Family Law action in Slovenia in February 2026.”

“Slovenia is the appropriate forum for adjudication of this dispute,” Wasser wrote in her filing.

A hearing on Wasser’s motion had been scheduled for Aug. 14.

Doncic and Goltes, a model and influencer, began dating as teenagers and share two daughters together.

“I love my daughters more than anything and I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season, but that hasn’t been possible, so I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement,” Doncic wrote in a statement to ESPN when he announced their split in March.

“Everything I do is for my daughters’ happiness and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life I can.”

TMZ was first to report Goltes’ Monday filing.
