Madonna was photographed holding hands with her much younger boyfriend, Akeem Morris, on Tuesday, three days before her 66th birthday.
The pop star had her hand tucked into the 28-year-old athlete’s arm as they walked the streets of Portofino, Italy.
Madonna kept her hair down as she sported a long black dress with a lace cover-up, matching dark sunglasses, and various silver necklaces.
Morris kept it preppy, wearing a tan collared shirt, white and black shorts, and sneakers. The Jamaican-born soccer player also hid his eyes behind small frames.
The duo is gearing up for Madonna’s birthday celebration at a private Dolce & Gabbana estate, according to the Italian press, per People.
The couple’s latest adventure comes on the heels of their Fourth of July celebration.
Madonna shared their night out on Instagram, rocking a long red dress and shades as she held her other half — dressed in a black tank top and matching jeans — while they walked through New York City.
The artist and Morris — featured in her Paper magazine cover shoot in August 2022 — also enjoyed fireworks before cuddling on the couch.
In one PDA-filled picture, the athlete rested his hand on Madonna’s chest as she closed her eyes.
The “Like a Prayer” singer also took a moment to reflect on her health journey over the past year.
“Happy 4th of July!” she captioned her post. “A year ago today, I had just come home from the hospital after surviving a life threatening illness, I could barely stand in my backyard holding one sparkler. I made a miraculous recovery and had an amazing year. Thank you God. Life is beautiful!”
Since then, Morris’ ex-girlfriend, Reagan Rice, has been vocal about her past relationship with the soccer player.
Rice has continued to make videos on TikTok to express her feelings about her former partner’s connection to a global superstar.
She captioned one clip, “Put a finger down if your boyfriend of 3 years is now dating Madonna #madonna #breakup #wtf #2024 #heartbreak.”
Madonna was married to Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989 before tying the knot again with Guy Ritchie in 2000. They divorced in 2008 and have two kids: Rocco, 24, and David, 18, whom Ritchie adopted.
Madonna is also mom to Lourdes, 27, Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11.
Despite walking down the aisle twice, the “Vogue” songstress quickly responded in a 2022 YouTube video about one decision she now feels wasn’t the best idea.
“Getting married,” Madonna said. “Both times.”
After splitting with Ritchie, the film director called that time in his life a “soap opera.”
“It’s definitely not something I regret. The experience was ultimately very positive. I love the kids that came out of it,” Ritchie said to Details magazine in 2011. “But you move on, don’t you? You’re right, I stepped into a soap opera, and I lived in it for quite a long period of my life.”
But one regret Madonna doesn’t have? As the star put it, her “six amazing children.”
