Mallory Edens seemingly shades Aaron Rodgers for girlfriend-bashing ‘press tour’

Edens is the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens and was briefly linked to the Super Bowl champ in 2023 before he married his mystery wife, Brittani.

The 30-year-old producer of the new romantic comedy film “Charlie Harper”, which she hinted is inspired around her relationship with Rodgers, is seemingly responding to his candid comments as a guest in a two-part episode of the “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward” podcast on Sept. 10.

Rodgers said his wife was the one that got away prior to his engagement with actress Shailene Woodley in 2022 and his relationship with former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick in 2020.

He explained the origin story of meeting his wife, which occurred in 2017, and his “biggest regret” was not proposing to her on the spot before she left for Europe.

“I was emotionally unavailable for those seven or eight years because I had met the person that changed my life,” Rodgers added, which includes his timeline with Edens, who came into the spotlight when she represented the Bucks at the 2014 NBA Draft Lottery.

“And after that, I just poured everything I had into football, and I think I got a lot out of that for sure, but I knew I was supposed to be with this one person, but we were separated by an ocean for a lot of it.”

The two split sometime in 2024 before Rodgers teased a new relationship on “The Pat McAfee Show” that year.

The 42-year-old later announced he had been married for “a couple months” in June 2025.

Rodgers also went scortched earth on his relationships with Patrick and Woodley on the podcast, claiming both of the women’s narratives about their respective breakups are false.

Patrick and Rodgers dated for two years before calling it quits in 2020. He claimed things went south after she retired in 2017 as a racecar driver when she became “depressed” and “not fun to be around.”

“But I didn’t leave her because I was trying to be there and be a good partner. Then it was going a certain direction obviously. There was no intimacy; there was nothing…” he said. “She tells a story that she was so blindsided and getting left by you, and that he leaves a trail of blood around him. And I’m like, what are you talking about? That’s not what happened.”

Rodgers went on to propose to Woodley in December 2021 before things were cut off in March 2022, a little more than a year after the two made their relationship public. They split again in April.

He claimed he didn’t “ruin” Woodley’s life but she instead wanted to sleep with another man in 2022.

“I proposed to Shailene and she said yes. Now, she maybe felt like she was forced to make a decision. She could have said no,” Rodgers said. “A couple days after that she tells me, ‘Before we get married, I gotta go f–k this guy,’ and I’m like — because her story is that I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her….We had a couple of times where we tried to get reunited and nothing ever happened. There wasn’t even a relationship in 2022 to break off.”

In 2024, Woodley, 34, shared details about the breakup that surrounded a traumatic event she went through that year.

Rodgers is in his final NFL year as he stated he plans to retire following the 2026 season. The Steelers are 1-1 to start the season after a brutal 20-3 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

It was one of the worst games of Rodgers career, going 23-of-39 for 187 yards and one interception. He was benched for backup quarterback Mason Rudolph late in the fourth quarter during garbage time.
