Man watching ‘The Office’ on plane oblivious Rainn Wilson sitting next to him

A Delta passenger glued to an episode of “The Office” had no idea his seatmate was none other than famed paper salesman Dwight Schrute himself.

Actor Rainn Wilson, 57, who portrayed the socially awkward Dunder Mifflin employee on the hit NBC sitcom, secretly filmed the unsuspecting fellow traveler, People reported.

“When the person sitting next to you has no idea who you are…” the actor said in the caption of the video, which he shared to his Instagram Story on Monday.

Wilson looked nothing like his character on the show, where he sported middle-parted hair, glasses and a mustard-colored shirt.

While seated in business class, he was wearing a cap and a surgical mask, but was without his trademark spectacles, so it is unlikely his neighbor would have recognized him.

Schrute — the assistant to regional manager Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell — appeared on the small screen several times as Wilson looked on in amusement.

“The Office,” which depicted the work lives of Dunder Mifflin’s employees in the fictional company’s branch in Scranton, Pennsylvania, ran from March 2005 to May 2013.

It continues to be a fan favorite in rerurns.

In November, Wilson announced that he was changing his name to Rainnfall Heat Wave Extreme Winter Wilson to raise awareness about the fallout from global warming.

The vocal environmental advocate and board member of Arctic Basecamp said he reached out to “lots of folks in show business” to urge them to do the same.
