“I never personally realized the negative connotation behind the word ‘ambitious’ until I started dating my now-husband. “So, since I’ve felt the negativity behind it, it’s really hard to feel it. I can’t even see it in the millions of girls and women who make themselves small — so small — on a regular basis,” He added.
In her podcast, Meghan talked about the “pain” of being the wrong character, saying that if a person is ambitious, it is “so celebrated”, but, in a school classroom, “if a little girl Ambitious or raises his hand more, what is he called? Bossy.”
