Christen Harper bid farewell to a “bittersweet” NFL season in a touching tribute to her fiancé, Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
On Monday, one day after the Lions defeated the Packers, 20-16, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model took to Instagram, where she gushed over Goff in a post that included some of her favorite moments throughout the season.
“It’s always bittersweet when the season comes to an end,” Harper wrote in her caption. “I am so so proud of @jaredgoff and this entire team with everything they accomplished this season.

“Detroit is a special city and I feel so blessed to be along for this crazy adventure! #thatteam.”
Harper’s post featured photos with Goff, friends, and fellow Lions WAGs, including Kyndra Claire Decker, the wife of offensive tackle Taylor Decker, and Lucy Ragnow, the wife of center Frank Ragnow.
Although Detroit’s playoff hopes were crushed before their victory over Green Bay, the Lions head into the offseason with a sense of optimism. After starting the year at 1-6, the team rallied back to win eight of their final 10 games.
In order to make the postseason for the first time since 2016, Detroit (9-8) needed the Rams to beat the Seahawks on Sunday, on top of their own victory against the Packers. The Seahawks defeated the Rams in overtime, 19-16.
Harper has expressed her love for the city of Detroit on social media throughout the season, noting she enjoys the “change of pace” after living in Los Angeles. The couple relocated to Michigan after the Rams traded Goff for Matthew Stafford in January 2021.
“We’ve always been in California, so there was an excitement to a fresh start, but at the same time, my whole career has been in L.A. and I did not know what it was going to look like moving away from that,” Harper told The Post last month.

“I feel lucky to kind of start branching out into doing different things. I think the space allowed me to do that because if I stayed in L.A., I probably would have continued to do the same work I’ve done for years.”
Harper met Goff when he was with the Rams and she was working and living in L.A., she revealed on the new YouTube series, “Women of the League,” which follows the wives and girlfriends of NFL players.
“We met on a dating app,” Harper said on the show. “We are a dating app success story. I wasn’t really looking for anything at the time and I was just kind of being single and having fun.”
Goff proposed to Harper in June 2022 after three years of dating.
