Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes sported Backstreet Boys varsity jackets while attending the band’s “Into the Millennium” residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas to celebrate her 31st birthday.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, whose birthday fell on Sunday, shared an Instagram carousel post that included photos with their good friends, former Chiefs tight end Blake Bell and his wife Lyndsay Bell.
Patrick and Blake, who last played for the Chiefs in 2023, won three Super Bowls together for Kansas City, and their wives have remained close.
Brittany’s post included snapshots of their suite at the Wynn, which was decorated with gold balloons and a gold wall with a lit-up sign that said, “Happy Birthday.”
There was a three-tier cake that had a photo of the Mahomes’ and their three kids: Sterling, 5; son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 3; and daughter Golden Raye, 19 months.
Another image showed the Patrick, Brittany, Blake and Lyndsay wearing blue sunglasses before the concert.
Patrick, who’s coming off surgery for a torn ACL and LCL, shared a tribute for Brittany’s birthday on Sunday.
“Happy Birthday! ❤️ Love you Forever ❤️,” he wrote, including photos of the pair and a one snapshot of them and their kids.
Patrick and Brittany, who were married in 2022, are enjoying time together before his 10th NFL season.
Mahomes missed the entire preseason for the first time in his career after getting injured last December.
The two-time MVP, who was cleared in late July to participate in all football activities for training camp, has remained optimistic to start for the Chiefs in Week 1 — when Kansas City hosts the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 14 for “Monday Night Football.”
Coach Andy Reid said Monday that the team’s medical staff has not yet cleared Mahomes to play in a game.
