Penn State police have announced that they closed the investigation into an incident where Jason Kelce slammed a heckler’s phone on the ground in November.

Kelce was walking toward Beaver Stadium before Penn State took on Ohio State in a blockbuster Big Ten matchup when a fan pestered him and made a homophobic remark about Kelce’s brother Travis dating Taylor Swift.

Kelce identified the fan who was being obnoxious, grabbed their phone and slammed it.

Penn State police opened an investigation into the incident after video of it went viral.

“The individual in the video footage circulating on social media has not been identified, and no one has come forward to University Police with a related complaint about damage to personal property,” a Penn State police spokesperson told The Athletic on Tuesday.

Kelce is a lock to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame for his time as a center with the Eagles and is now an NFL analyst for ESPN, in addition to co-hosting the popular “New Heights” podcast with his brother.

In the incident last month, a heckler yelled at Kelce: “How does it feel that your brother is a f—–t for dating Taylor Swift?”

Kelce reacted to the fan: “Who’s the f—-t now?”

On ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” days after the incident, Kelce expressed regret over the incident, albeit stopping short of an apology to the heckler.

“I think everybody’s seen on social media the thing that took place this week. Listen, I’m not happy with anything that took place. I’m not proud of it. In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate, and I just don’t think that that’s a productive thing. I really don’t. I don’t think it leads to discourse, and it’s the right way to go about things, and in that moment I fell down to a level that I shouldn’t have,” Kelce said.

“I think, the bottom line is, I try to live my life by the Golden Rule. It’s what I’ve always been taught. I try to treat people with common decency and respect, and I’m going to keep doing that moving forward even though I fell short this week.”
