Prince Harry and Meghan Markle donated $250,000 to President Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden, to fund her women’s wellness center, The Post can confirm.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex injected the generous cash sum into Biden’s Women’s Wellness (Spa)ce, based in Philadelphia, last year, according to Archewell Foundation’s 2023 tax records.
The quarter-of-a-million dollars went into Biden’s “mindfully designed drop-in wellness center for women to congregate, create, educate, and meditate.”
The information was released as part of Archewell’s 45-page annual impact report. It is the largest donation the organization had made all year.
In a fan-made video celebrating Harry and the “Suits” alum’s foundation on Instagram, the pair can be seen attending various events around the globe.
In the clip, set to Coldplay’s “A Sky Full of Stars,” Markle is heard addressing a group of women at a recent Thanksgiving event, saying, “When you show up in community, you find that group that makes you feel like home, but often times you’ll also find yourself again.”
Elsewhere, Harry, 40, can be heard saying, “Every single one of you inspire me and you inspire us every single day. So please continue to be there to support each other.”
The tax filing also reveals that the Sussexes’ Archewell foundation received more than $5.3 million in grants, including one major $5 million donation.
The large cash sum came from five anonymous individuals.
Biden, for her part, launched the wellness hub to support women who have endured trauma. Harry and Meghan’s foundation has been named as a founding partner of the project.
The former royal couple boasts a close friendship with the Biden family. The duo previously collaborated with the Bidens for the Invictus Games, and were vocal about their support of the president in the 2020 election against Donald Trump.
What’s more, Markle — has long been rumored to have been eyeing a career in politics — also appears to be close to President Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens.
The mom of two has reportedly been forging connections with top Democrats since quitting royal life and moving back home to the US in 2020.
And last year, Biden Owens reportedly “endorsed” Markle as a woman she would back for the White House, though the former actress has never announced plans for a White House bid.
Archewell’s tax return also revealed that nearly $790,000 was spent on salaries.
The duo were dealt a fresh blow when their chief of staff, Josh Kettler, quit after just three months on the job.
The reason for Kettler’s departure was revealed in August — just one day before he was due to accompany the Sussexes on their trip to Colombia.
He was the 18th staffer working for the couple to hand in his resignation over the past four years.
