Princess Beatrice is the only member of the royal family that’s able to “initiate peace” in Prince Harry’s ongoing feud with Prince William, according to a former palace staffer.
William, 42, and his family were dealt a tough start to the year following his wife Kate Middleton and father King Charles’ respective cancer diagnoses.
As his workload increased while Kate, 42, and Charles, 75, took on less amid their treatment, William’s feud with his younger brother has continued to play out in the public eye.
According to the king’s former royal butler Grant Harrold, Beatrice has “become more present” within the royal fold this year, making her the perfect person to bring the feuding camps together.
“She would be someone to initiate peace in the family,” he told the Post. “She’s close to both William and Harry, as well as the king — and they trust her.”
“It would be her out of anyone else — but she wouldn’t want to be too involved.”
“She would try to be careful. I have no doubt she would have spoken to the two brothers at some point to try to improve the situation,” he added on behalf of Fruity Slots.
Beatrice, 36, and her sister, Princess Eugenie, have remained close to Harry, 39, and Meghan, 43, since the duo quit royal life in 2020.
Eugenie, 34, has even visited the Sussexes in the US, with the pair seen watching the Super Bowl together in 2022.
She was also the only figure from the royal family to make an appearance in his Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan.”
Meanwhile, Beatrice has also remained close to the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Still, it appears as though Beatrice may have her work cut out for her as the brothers reportedly did not speak to each other while attending their uncle’s funeral earlier this week.
After reports suggesting Harry was set to be skipping the event over safety concerns, the duke ultimately bit the bullet and flew to the UK for an incognito appearance at the memorial service.
The funeral marked the first time the feuding brothers were under the same roof since their father, King Charles’ coronation in May 2023.
It comes as royal expert Kinsey Schofield suggested that Markle is regretful over the way her dramatic exit from the royal family went down four years ago.
Among the myriad of lucrative projects the “Suits” alum and Harry released since their shock departure from the royal fold — dubbed Megxit — the couple sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a bombshell tell-all interview in 2021.
During her interview, the Sussexes said that royals had raised concerns over the darkness of baby Archie’s skin.
“She and Prince Harry deeply regret the royal racist controversy. Meghan wanted the takeaway from their Oprah interview to be about her mental health,” Schofield said, adding that the former actress’ comments “backfired.”
