Priscilla Presley wanted burial spot next to Elvis, Riley Keough ‘relieved’ over Lisa Marie trust settlement

Priscilla Presley wanted burial spot next to Elvis, Riley Keough ‘relieved’ over Lisa Marie trust settlement

Riley Keough is “relieved” to have reached a settlement over Lisa Marie Presley’s trust, but Priscilla Presley reportedly wanted more.

The late Lisa Marie’s mother and daughter were formerly not talking about a dispute over her estate, but legal counsel reached a settlement Tuesday at a Los Angeles courthouse.

However, while TMZ said that Lisa Marie’s estate paid her mother Priscilla, 77, an undisclosed yet large amount of money to settle the dispute, the outlet is now reporting that she wanted more.

Sources with “direct knowledge” told TMZ that Priscilla lost out on a big ask — a burial spot next to her ex-husband Elvis Presley.

Elvis is buried at Graceland, his Memphis estate, but there are already two gravesites next to him — his mother and father — so if Priscilla were to get a spot next to Elvis, someone would have to move.

“Although I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon. It is my family’s and my wish for me to be laid to rest with my daughter and the love of my life when that time comes. We appreciate the love from all of the fans,” Priscilla told TMZ.

TMZ reported that Priscilla’s request for the burial spot was a “non-starter” and she didn’t fight back much about the decision.

Even without her preferred burial spot, Priscilla walked away with what the outlet claims to be a settlement in the millions for dropping claims over who would control her daughter’s trust, which includes the Graceland mansion and a stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises.

“They have reached a settlement. Families are happy,” Ronsen Shamoon, Priscilla’s lawyer, told reporters outside the courthouse. “Everyone is happy. Unified and together and excited for the future.”

Justin Gold, Keough’s attorney added, “[Riley] would not have agreed to the settlement if she was not happy with it.”

Keough, Lisa Marie’s 33-year-old daughter, is ready to move on from the family drama.

“Riley is relieved to have settled the dispute over her mom’s estate. She doesn’t want any drama with her grandmother,” a source told People. “She was hoping they could reach a settlement quickly.”

They continued, “Riley is still grieving her mom. It’s been very tough for her. She wants to focus on making memories with her own daughter now. This is her priority.”

During Lisa Marie’s public memorial on Jan. 22, Keough’s husband Ben Smith-Petersen revealed that they had welcomed a daughter.

“Thank you for showing me love is the only thing that matters in this life. I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters,” Smith-Petersen read from a tribute on his wife’s behalf.

“Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart.”

Lisa Marie died on Jan. 12 at 54 after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest at her Calabasas, California, home.

“Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie,” read a statement to The Post from a rep for Priscilla, 77, at the time of Lisa Marie’s passing.

The battle over Lisa Marie’s trust began when Priscilla filed a petition in LA questioning the “authenticity and validity” of a 2016 amendment to her trust and estate that named Keough as controller of the trust.
