Tekashi 6ix9ine has been arrested for allegedly violating the terms of his release from prison following his conviction on gang crimes, according to a report.
The rainbow-haired rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is due to appear in federal court in New York later Tuesday, according to a report by ABC News.
The 28-year-old Brooklyn native was released from prison in 2020 and placed on supervised release following his guilty plea to charges of racketeering and conspiracy to commit murder in the case against his gang Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
The embattled snitch – who testified against the gang at trial and was sentenced to just two years behind bars – was arrested in the Dominican Republic for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Yailín la Más Viral, in January.
