King Charles III held his annual pre-Christmas luncheon Thursday — one of the royals’ many holiday traditions — with a reported 70 members of the extended family in attendance at Buckingham Palace.
Some main players skipped the festivities though: Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three kids opted out of the lunch this year, as did the king’s embattled brother, Prince Andrew — but for a completely different and more scandalous reason than the Prince and Princess of Wales.
