Stephen A. Smith isn’t letting Shannon Sharpe forget his “First Take” hiccup.
One day after Sharpe made his highly anticipated ESPN debut — in which he accidentally called Smith “Skip,” as in his former “Undisputed” co-host Skip Bayless — the “First Take” staple sported a name tag during Tuesday’s show.
“Hello, my name is Stephen A.,” the tag read.
Smith can joke about it now, but he was understanding in regard to Sharpe’s mix-up on Monday.
“That’s alright, that’s alright,” Smith said as Sharpe initially shook his head in frustration with a touch of embarrassment.
Later, when discussing the upcoming “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Jets and Bills on Sept. 11, Sharpe said, “And you know what, Skip.”
The Pro Football Hall of Famer, 55, then pounded his fist into the table and shook his head.
“It’s been seven years, Stephen A.,” Sharpe said.
Smith continued comforting Sharpe, saying, “It’s OK, it’s OK,” but Sharpe’s frustration was clear.
Sharpe joined ESPN after a seven-year run alongside Bayless on FS1’s “Undisputed.”
Bayless rebooted his show after Sharpe left in June, adding a rotation of co-hosts that includes Keyshawn Johnson, Richard Sherman and Michael Irvin.
Despite the change in talent on “Undisputed,” Bayless continues to trail Smith and “First Take” by a wide margin in the ratings.
Both shows have embraced debate as their format, which can be traced back in part to when Bayless was Smith’s co-host on “First Take” from 2012 to 2016.
The Post’s Andrew Marchand and Ryan Glasspiegel first reported in August that Sharpe would be joining “First Take.”
He’ll appear on the show on Mondays and Tuesdays.
