Tom Cruise gives surprising verdict on Taylor Swift’s football knowledge

Taylor Swift watched her first Chiefs game since becoming Travis Kelce’s wife.

And she did so alongside esteemed company, as Tom Cruise was seen sitting next to her on Monday night.

Cruise was the guest on Travis and his brother Jason’s “New Heights” podcast, which aired on Thursday morning.

“I was sitting next to Tay last night … She was telling me about your all’s first date. You were talking about football,” Cruise said.

“Oh, yeah,” Travis replied.

“But also what she said was, how she was like, ‘What was it like [having Travis and Jason] hitting each other,” Cruise added.

“She was out there thinking that [Jason and I] were out there basically boxing each other on the field!” Travis responded with a laugh, confirming that Swift didn’t know anything about football when they began dating.

“And now she knows everything. She sees the flags coming in, she’s like like, ‘Oh, that might be a defensive hold.’ I’m just like, ‘What? What did you say, sweetie?’ She was like, ‘That’s encroachment.’ I’m like, ‘Do you know what that is?’ Yeah, she’s, she’s on it now,” Travis added.

“She was schooling me! Like, this happened, that’s happened. He’s coming in. It was awesome,” Cruise added of Swift’s newfound football knowledge.

It sounds like Cruise was the one asking Swift about what took place during the Chiefs’ dominant win against the Broncos.
