In March 2019, TV On The Radio opened for Weezer and Pixies at Madison Square Garden.
Then, they disappeared.
Until now.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, the trailblazing indie rockers took the stage at a surprise Vans Fashion Week event where they performed six of their biggest hits — including the blistering “Wolf Like Me” and otherworldly “Staring At The Sun” — in front of a recreated version of shuttered Lower East Side bar Max Fish.
Thankfully, that brief set won’t be their only live show this year.
Tunde Adebimpe, Kyp Malone and Jaleel Bunton (Dave Sitek won’t be joining them on this run) announced they’re striking out on a short 20-year anniversary tour celebrating the expanded reissue of their essential debut album “Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes.”
As of now, there are only seven North American concerts on TV On The Radio’s tour itinerary; that includes four back-to-back-to-back-to-back gigs at New York City’s Webster Hall on Monday, Nov. 25, Tuesday, Nov. 26, Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30.
The following week, the Brooklyn-based trio drop into Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre on Dec. 4-5 and 7.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming North American TV On The Radio shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Thursday, Sept. 12.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

TV On The Radio new music
As of now, there is no “new” music on the horizon from TV On The Radio.
However, they are releasing an expanded version of their debut album sometime in the near future as noted above. To kick off the re-appreciation of “Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes,” the band dropped a 2004 recording of the artsy demo “Final Fantasy,” which eventually became “Bomb Yourself.”
