Hiding in any doorway, in any shadow, any place where danger waits to kill my time, there is one who loves and waits to seal your fate, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.
The show opens with a video package celebrating the history of NXT UK and also of NXT 2.0.
Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Ricochet (NXT North American Championship)
Circling, collar and elbow, rolling through, staying in the lockup, struggling around the ring, finally a throw, jockeying for position, Ricochet gets a headlock takeover, headscissors counter, quick pins, moonsault evasion, stalemate! Shoves and piefaces, Hayes gets dropped, handsprings, back rolls, roll under, headscissors takeover into a dropkick!
Ricochet fired up, snapmare, kick to the back, Trick Williams running interference, whip across, Carmelo stops short in the ropes and goes to the floor for a breather. Cutting Ricky off with a wrench of the arm, back inside, side headlock, Hayes shoots him off but Ricochet slides low and blocks!
Shot off to the floor this time, Ricochet warns Trick off, takes Hayes back in but again he’s preoccupied with Williams and Carmelo is ready for him with a kick! Slow into the cover, no good, right hands, slam, ballin’, snapmare, Ricky lands on his feet, kickflip dropkick, mat slam, superkick, Hayes is running hot!
Fast at it, vicious springboard crossbody elbow… NOPE! Ricochet with a corner lariat, both men go for springboard crossbodies and wipe out! Back on their feet, ducking and dodging, Ricochet lands a wild enzuigiri, Benedryller countered! Ricochet floats out of a suplex, superkick gets a headbutt, Ricky turns his attention to Trick and eats a tilt-a-whirl headscissors and a suplex lift Ace Crusher when he comes back in!
Hayes can’t put him away, piefacing and slaps, moving on to trading forearms one for one, trading close nearfalls, Carmelo with some stomps, Ricochet up top, pulls him down and the champ lays him out with a chop! Heading up top himself, Ricky pulls him down, jockeying for position, revolution superkick, Poison Frankensteiner!
Trick tries for a belt shot, Ricochet has him scouted and goes up top, shooting star press, nobody home…
Carmelo Hayes wins by pinfall with a small package to retain the NXT North American Championship.
We get a Cora Jade / Roxanne Perez video package, followed by another Quincy Elliott promo.
We get the footage from earlier today of Roderick Strong laying bloodied in the parking lot.
Briggs and Jensen (Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs) (UK) vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) vs. the Creeds (Brutus & Julius Creed) (NXT) (NXT Tag Team Championship / NXT UK Tag Team Championship Elimination Match)
Brawling wild before the bell, referees trying to break things up, eventually we start with Julius Creed and Josh Briggs brawling, shifting to Wolfgang and Brutus, Lash Legend tries to get involved, Fallon Henley attacks her and they get into a wild brawl of their own on the floor!
Pretty Deadly light on the Creeds, Jensen and Briggs dive on them both! Brutus up top, Wolfgang cuts him off, superplex connects! Broosk in with a Fameasser, Coffey breaks it up! Josh dumps Mark, Jensen with a spinning wheel kick, Coffey trips him up and tags in!
Scoop lift, kick sets off the slam, cover…
Gallus eliminates Briggs and Jensen by pinfall with an assisted slam on Brooks Jensen.
Pretty Deadly and Gallus work together to put boots to the Creed Brothers and then square off against each other. Back and forth, small package gets Prince two off of Coffey, a slam returns the favor, O’Connor roll and some tights for another deep two! Shotei from Elton, scoop lift, Mark floats out, Brutus back in and he goes to town on Wolfgang!
Hammerfists, German suplex, tag to Julius, electric chair… BRUTUS BOMB DEVICE! Clear the apron, Julius drops the hammer…
Creed Brothers eliminate Gallus by pinfall with a falling lariat from Julius Creed on Wolfgang.
Wilson and Brutus slugging it out, quick tags from Pretty deadly, working him over, Julius tags in and cleans house! Prince wants a sleeper hold, hanging on, Briggs and Coffe come brawling up the aisle! Julius with a delayed vertical, knees give out but he posts back up and completes the suplex!
Big back suplex, cover for two! Referee DA Brewer ended up on the floor to count and the brawl takes him out! Creed catches Elton with the cartwheel slam, the straps are down, Damon Kemp comes in to take Kit Wilson out, they hug, but Kemp grabs a chair and whacks Creed with it before hitting a spinebuster!
He slides out of the ring, leaving a stunned Elton Prince as he helps Brewer back into the ring…
Pretty Deadly win, last eliminating the Creed Brothers by pinfall with a lateral press from Elton Prince on Julius Creed to unify the NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Championships.
Backstage, Tony D’Angelo tries to recruit Cameron Grimes with the promise of some biscotti, but he’s not having it.
