Zendaya has broken her silence on her “Euphoria” costar Angus Cloud’s death.
“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor),” the 26-year-old captioned a photo of Cloud to Instagram on Tuesday.
“I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it) I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…’they could light up any room they entered’ but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.”

“My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone,” she added.
“Euphoria” follows the life of a troubled teenage drug addict, Rue (Zendaya). Cloud’s character Fezco was her sometimes drug dealer and other times guardian angel.
Prior to the HBO hit series, Cloud and Zendaya were classmates in real life at the School of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts — though the late actor was quoted in 2019 as saying he “didn’t really know her” at that time.

Sydney Sweeney, who portrays popular cheerleader Cassie Howard in “Euphoria,” was nostalgic for her late friend in an Instagram post published Tuesday.
“Angus you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter.”
Sweeney, 25, continued, “This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to post, and I’m struggling to find all the words. You will be missed more than you know, but I’m so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I’m sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same. This heartache is real and I wish we could’ve had one more hug and 711 run. All my love is with you.”
Cloud died Monday at his family’s Oakland home. He was 25.
An official confirmed for The Post that the Oakland Fire Department responded to a call from Cloud’s home around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, citing a medical emergency.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, the spokesperson said. Per protocol, the body was left in the care of the police department and coroner.
TMZ broke the news on Monday afternoon, reporting that Cloud’s mom made the call and mentioned a “possible overdose” after she reportedly found him without a pulse.
An HBO spokesperson told The Post in a statement Monday: “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and ‘Euphoria’ family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”
Showrunner Sam Levinson, along with other members of the “Euphoria” cast, also paid tributes to Cloud.
“There was no one quite like Angus,” said Levinson, adding, “I hope he knew how many hearts he touched.”
