‘Barbie’ moms battle it out over bad theater behavior in viral video

Life in this theater was not fantastic.

A post on social media showing “Barbie” moviegoers berating an inconsiderate parent who allegedly let her child watch YouTube videos throughout the screening of the wildly popular film has gone viral.

The clip, posted Monday by TikTok user Sophia Ferreira, shows a pink-dressed fan angrily accosting the offending mom as the movie’s end credits roll.

Things begin to escalate when the mom shoves her accuser, who goes tail over tea kettle into the theater seats.

After springing back into action, the woman pulls off her shoe and attacks the mom — until a man manages to separate the worked-up women and the mom is escorted away.

“I went to watch the Barbie movie and this happened,” reads the onscreen text, originally in Portuguese.

Since being posted, the video has gained nearly 126,000 views.

Viewers took to the comments section to Monday-morning quarterback the match.

“She lucky she confronted her at the end, cuz I would’ve went out and got a manager to escort her out,” slammed one TikTok user.

“The worst thing is to see others laughing without helping the girl,” said a second person.

Several other commenters laughed at the calming, down-tempo music from the film that plays as the fight rages between the two women.

The film, directed by Greta Gerwig, was released last weekend and immediately soared to the top slot of the US box office, raking in $22.2 million in preview ticket sales on Thursday, followed by another $48.2 million from the movie’s debut Friday, with a weekend total of a record-smashing $155 million.

The Post’s Johnny Oleksinski called the flick “a smug tale that doesn’t boast a single sympathetic character.”

Aussie actor Margot Robbie plays the titular character in the movie, which also features Ryan Gosling as one of many Kens, Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon and Dua Lipa.

Several AMC theaters have faced backlash after offering a $65 popcorn bucket in the shape of a Barbie car.

“Hop in and zoom around Barbie Land!” reads the description of the exclusive convertible. “This collectible Barbie car popcorn container re-creates the iconic pink Corvette” featured in “Barbie.”

“With a curvy silhouette and retro trims, the vintage-inspired convertible is a piece of art on four wheels!” it says.

Several Twitter users said they “cannot justify purchasing this.”
