I’m a mom — this is what a day at Disneyland is really like: ‘S–tshow’

A recent TikTok video has gone viral for capturing a family’s “realistic day at Disneyland” in a hilariously accurate way.

Titled “Realistic sh–show day at Disneyland,” the clip follows a family of four with two toddlers as they venture into the “happiest place on earth.”

The mom, Chrys Marie, sarcastically narrates their experiences.

“Finally after two hours, we got on our first ride—which was only a 55-minute wait,” she explains.

However, the initial excitement is short-lived, as the kids quickly grow “bored as f**k” so she buys them $12 iceblocks.

Next up, the mom says they went on a water ride that was “only a 70-minute wait.” Then, naturally, her son has a meltdown because honestly, who wouldn’t at this point?

After a quick snooze in Dad’s arms, “he woke up like, ‘Why did you guys bring me to Disneyland? I’d rather be watching my iPad.’”

Her kids then fight about which rides they want to go on next then beg for some $60 balloons.

Restaurants with ‘seven-hour waits’ and junk food overload

“Two rides and five hours later, we decided to eat some damn food, but first we had to park the stroller half a block away,” Marie says, filming the “car park” of back-to-back strollers.

“…The stroller they never want to sit in anyway,” she adds, showing her kids roaming around while their dad pushes the empty [stroller]

Apparently, the restaurants had a “seven-hour wait” so they just got some rainbow popcorn and lollies and called it a meal.

After all the junk food, her son puked up an artificial-green mess, something he looks extremely proud of.

“The 10-minute fireworks show at the end of the night was about the most peaceful part of the day,” she concludes. “And we ended it by buying a $400 lightsaber. And that’s a wrap on the unhappiest f**king place on earth.”

“I swear I’ll NEVER go again”

The video struck a chord with parents everywhere, with many taking to the comments to give empathy and share their own struggles.

“This is the parenting I live for,” one of the top comments read.

“Removes Disney from bucket list,” read another.

“I stand by everything she said!! Me and my primary-aged daughter went one time and all the wait times were 60 mins or more, so we had to do all the kiddie rides JUST to say we got on some rides,” one frustrated mom recalled.

Another declared, “I swear I’ll NEVER go again,” while someone else added, “We took our four kids (age four-15 at the time) in 2017 and I’m still recovering.”

After a quick snooze in dad's arms, "he woke up like, 'Why did you guys bring me to Disneyland? I’d rather be watching my iPad," said the mom.

“I thought I was crazy for being irritable all day spending money, waiting in long lines, and sweating an ungodly amount while listening to crying,” a different viewer admitted.

Some people offered practical advice, like making reservations for restaurants in advance and securing fast passes to minimize wait times.

While these suggestions are undoubtedly helpful, first-time visitors might not know how to do this (not to mention the price of fast passes!)

So, will you be heading to theme parks this upcoming Spring/Summer?
