Police were called after a fight broke out during Venezuela Fury and Noah Price’s wedding reception at the Comis Hotel and Golf Club in the United Kingdom on Saturday, according to the Daily Mail.
Four police cars reportedly arrived at the hotel just after 9.30 pm after reports of a brawl and a man in his 20s was taken into custody in the back of a van.
The Isle of Man Constabulary confirmed to the Mirror that officers were called to the Comis Hotel, Santon, where a man was arrested.
The man, not identified in the report, received a warning for disorderly behavior and was released without charge early on Sunday morning, Isle of Man police confirmed, per Daily Mail.
It’s unclear what started the alleged incident, which reportedly took place after Venezuela’s father, boxing legend, Tyson Fury, gave an emotional speech — and made it clear there would be no free bar as he wanted to avoid any unruly behavior.
Venezuela, 16, and Price, a 19-year-old amateur boxer, tied the knot at the Royal Chapel of St. John on the Isle of Man, located in the Irish Sea — where the age of consent on the island is 16 with parental approval.
Their wedding reception reportedly featured a 12-foot blue-and-yellow iced wedding cake and a surprise performance by Peter Andre, a British-Australian singer.
At the same time, a group of 75 members of the Porsche Club of Great Britain were having their annual Isle of Man gathering at the Comis Hotel and Golf Club — with one member described the situation as a “real mess.”
“There was a fight we heard, a small one and one man was arrested,” a member of the Porsche Club of Great Britain gathering told the Daily Mail. “I think the police turned up in numbers because of the background on the guests, to be on the safe side.
‘We were told two weeks ago that there would be a VIP wedding at the same time but not told who it was. The hotel said all efforts would be made to keep both parties apart (wristbands were handed out) and to be fair they did. There was a little bit of noise, but it was over by 1 a.m. The next morning though when we got up for breakfast the place was a shambles, it was a real mess. It’s a shame as we had booked the venue first, but it won’t let it stop us coming back.”
Fury has yet to publicly address the reports.
Venezuela and Price are reportedly enjoying their honeymoon in the Caribbean.
Their wedding reportedly caused a stir with some family members, who thought Fury and his wife Paris’ $7 million in wedding gifts to the newlyweds were over the top.
Fury and Paris also reportedly funded the couple’s $40,000 honeymoon.
