LAX restaurant crowned best airport quick bite eatery in new national ranking

A popular restaurant and cafe at Los Angeles International Airport has been crowned the best airport grab-and-go in the nation.

Urth Caffé topped USA Today’s list as part of their annual the 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

The California-based chain, which has locations in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, as well several in Las Vegas, is known for its organic coffees and boba teas.

The cafe-restaurant also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with items including pancakes, sandwiches, and pizzas.

Urth’s LAX outpost is located in Terminal 1, Level 3 of the airport.

“This win reflects what our team strives for every day: quality coffee and food, along with an exceptional experience for every guest,” Gaelle Bou Raffoul, general manager of the LAX location told LAMag. “I’m grateful for the care my team brings to each interaction and proud to see their work recognized.”

The chain began in 1991 with its first location on Melrose Avenue. It grew to a celeb favorite over the years, and was even featured in episodes of HBO’s “Entourage.”

LAX wasn’t the only California airport to snag a spot on the list.

Napa Farms Market in San Francisco International Airport ranked sixth on the list.

With over a dozen locations across two states, Urth’s popularity is also zipping across the pond. The chain will open its first location in London’s Covent Garden in early 2027.

Urth also has locations in Dubai and Saudi Arabia via a franchisee.
