He’s leaving the Big Cheese for the Big Apple.
On Monday, it was announced that that the Green Bay Packers were trading quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.
The big news means that Gang Green’s Super Bowl odds are much improved, while Rodgers will soon have a much wider array of venues for his active dating life.
“Compared to Wisconsin, he’s going to have a ball in New York City,” Tom Martignetti, the co-owner of uptown hot spot East Pole, told The Post.
Rodgers frequented the buzzy restaurant in the summer of 2017 with then 24-year-old soccer player Marie Margolius.
She’s one of many high-profile ladies Rodgers has been linked to over the years.
“He makes Pete Davidson look positively demure,” Rob Shuter, host of the “Naughty But Nice” podcast, has said.
Margolius was preceded by a date with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kelly Rohrbach, a three-year-year relationship with actress Olivia Munn and a shorter stint with “Gossip Girl” star Jessica Szohr.
Rodgers went on to have a serious relationship with race car driver Danica Patrick, even buying a $28-million Malibu estate with her.
They fizzled out in 2020, and the following year, it was on to actress Shailene Woodley. The duo surprised fans in early 2021 when they announced their engagement, but then called it off the following year.
A-Rodg is currently rumored to be dating 26-year-old model Mallory Edens, daughter of Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens.
Playing for the Jets will bring Rodgers closer to Edens — a born-and-raised New Yorker who ran track at Princeton — and give him a chance to explore some of his other passions.
He’s something of a foodie — he often gives shout outs to favorite restaurants and has a sweet tooth — and a seeker, who has made headlines for various spiritual and New Age pursuits.
Here, we offer a guide to his new hometown and the surrounding areas.
Crystals
The QB has been known to sport a crystal-and-fossil amulet necklace and was recently seen shopping at the groovy Topanga Rocks crystal shop in Los Angeles. To rock out on the East Coast, he should check out the Namaste Bookshop (2 W. 14th St., Union Square; Namastebookshop.com), which offers various crystals and tarot cards, along with shelves and shelves of books on both Eastern and Western philosophies.
Bars
If he’s missing the Midwest, Rodgers can always pop into Kettle of Fish (59 Christopher St., West Village; Kettleoffishnyc.com), a Green Bay fan bar where he made an appearance in 2020 — and helped raise money for during the pandemic.
Or, if he’s nostalgic for his college days at Cal, he can enjoy a cold one with fellow Golden Bears at Shaffer’s Bar (151 Eighth Ave., Chelsea; Shaffersnyc.com).
For more intellectual pursuits, Rodgers — who was both a successful contestant and host on “Jeopardy!” — could check out Gaf West (401 W. 48th, Midtown; GafWest.com), which is known for having a lively trivia night.
Italian
Celebrity private investigator Bo Dietl has had table No. 1 on Thursdays at Rao’s (455 E. 114th St., East Harlem; Raosrestaurants.com) for decades, and he has already offered to take Rodgers to the legendary spot, where Peyton Manning celebrated his second Super Bowl with his brother Eli at this legendary spot in 2016. “You can’t get f – – king Rao’s meatballs in Green Bay,” Dietl boasts.
A taste of Wisconsin
After being surrounded by literal cheeseheads for so many seasons, Rodgers might crave some dairy. The famed Murray’s Cheese Shop (254 Bleecker St.; Murrayscheese.com) has several gourmet Wisconsin cheeses on offer, from Marieke Gouda to Bleu Mont bandaged cheddar.
Movies
Rodgers is a movie buff who regularly quotes “The Princess Bride” and loves “The Big Lebowski,” Keanu Reeves and Quentin Tarantino. He and Edens might want to check out Nitehawk Cinema in Brooklyn (multiple locations; Nitehawkcinema.com), which shows both classic flicks and new blockbusters. Further afield, he could head to Tarrytown in September, when “Princess Bride” star Cary Elwes will host a special screening.
A healing retreat
Rodgers has met the Dalai Lama and enjoyed a Buddhist-style darkness retreat, so he could head to Menla, an “authentic Tibetan mind-body healing arts and sciences” retreat and spa in the Catskills (375 Pantherkill Road, Phoenicia; Menla.org) headed by Robert Thurman, father of Uma.
Date night
Rodgers and Edens were often seen sitting courtside at Milwaukee Bucks games, but Edens has actually long been a big Knicks fan. Her family had season tickets to Madison Square Garden (4 Pennsylvania Plaza, Midtown) years before buying the Bucks, and, during her senior year at Trevor Day School on the Upper West Side in 2014, Edens reportedly attended around 15 to 20 Knicks games.
Peace in the city
New York City continues to import the West Coast woo-woo that Rodgers is so fond of. This includes Remedy Place (2 W. 21st St. FRNT 1, Flatiron, RemedyPlace.com), a social club centered around wellness that first opened in West Hollywood and recently came to NYC. Its offerings include couples cryotherapy, an ice bath studio and an infrared sauna. Sounds like a very romantic date spot.
Indian
During an interview last month, Rodgers revealed his fondness for Green Bay’s Indian food, specifically, India Bhavan. Luckily, Indian food is having a moment in NYC, thanks to the critically lauded Unapologetic Foods restaurant group. Their spot Dhamaka in Essex Market (119 Delancey St.; Dhamaka.NYC) is known for its chicken pulao and tough reservation, while their Southern Indian cuisine at Semma (60 Greenwich Avenue; Semma.nyc) has earned a Michelin star.
Meat and potatoes
It’s been reported that Rodgers spends his Friday nights at Chives, a New American restaurant in Suamico, Wisconsin, whose owner said the quarterback is a “steak and potatoes guy.” He’ll have loads of iconic steakhouses to explore here, including Peter Luger in Brooklyn (178 Broadway; 718 387-7400), Porter House (10 Columbus Circle), Keens (72 W. 36th St.; Keens.com), and Sparks Steak House (210 E. 46th St.; SparksSteakhouse.com). The latter’s mob murder history will satisfy his love of trivia along with his steak craving.
Chives’ owner also said Rodgers always orders patatas bravas. He can get his fix of the Spanish potato dish downtown at Tomino (192 Grand Street; TominoNYC.com) or at La Barra in Mercado Little Spain (10 Hudson Yards; LittleSpain.com).
Golf
Rodgers’ registered handicap is an impressive 3 and he won the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am back in February. If he fancies a round he’d be at home at New Jersey’s Somerset Hills Country Club (180 Mine Mount Road, Bernardsville; SomersetCC.org), where he can face off against member Eli Manning. Bonus — it’s only 25 minutes from the Jets practice facility.
Real Estate
Every realtor in the Tri-State area is trying to get a hold of Rodgers right now. It’s unclear where he’ll call home, but most of his teammates opt to live in the Garden State because of its proximity to the practice facility and stadium. But Rodgers, who is reportedly scheduled to make $60 million in 2023, can certainly afford a flashy apartment on the West Side — and a driver to shuttle him across the river.
Headspace
Rodgers has been open about dabbling in psychedelics — he said doing ayahuasca helped him “see how to unconditionally love” himself — so he might want to head to the Hamptons for some ketamine therapy at Hampton Insight (61 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Suite C, D, E, Southampton, HamptonInsight.com) or Hampton Therapy (60 Montauk Highway, Suite 1, East Moriches, Hamptontherapy.com). Afterward, the California native, who loves the beach, can get some time on the sand.
