Anne Heche tried to warn Portia de Rossi about dating Ellen DeGeneres, the late actress revealed in a revived episode of her podcast.
The “Six Days, Seven Nights” star, who died last Friday at the age of 53 after he mortgaged his car to a house, explained to his co-host, Heather Duffy, that De Rossi thought of dating a former talk show host. Would make her the “poster child” for homosexual relationships.

The “Volcano” star dated DeGeneres, 64, from 1997 to 2000. He later told Page Six that their relationship “canceled” him in Hollywood.
“I didn’t do a studio picture for 10 years,” she claimed. “I was fired from a $10 million picture deal and didn’t see the light of day in a studio picture.”
Meanwhile, the “Finding Nemo” voice actress and De Rossi, 49, celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary.
