Well, hairs to swift justice!
In the days since his alleged involvement in a recent viral wig-snatching incident, a Manhattan attorney is gone from his post as an associate at a New York City law firm.
“He is no longer with our firm,” a spokesperson for Leader Berkon Colao & Silverstein LLP told The Post Wednesday regarding the alleged hair-puller, whom social media sleuths have identified as Anthony Orlich.
On its official LinkedIn profile, the office, too, announced the man’s departure, saying in part, “We take seriously any inappropriate behavior by any employee, whether inside or outside the workplace.”
“This associate is no longer with the Firm,” the bulletin said in closing.
Orlich did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
Before getting fired, the man believed to be Orlich first came under trending fire when Brooklyn-based singer Lizzy Ashleigh shared startling footage from her wig-yanking assault.
In the clip, which has fetched more than 555,000 TikTok views, an incensed Ashleigh — while gripping the emerald green hairpiece that’d been wrongfully removed from her head — is heard angrily questioning her attacker.
“Sir! For what f–king reason?!” she yelled. “For what reason did you take my wig off?”
Ashleigh continued, “What made you think that was the good thing to do? Why’d you do that? What makes you think that that’s OK?”
Rather than responding, the guy cut a sly smirk, ignored her rants and refused to apologize.
“It’s not funny,” said Ashleigh. “You don’t even f–king know me. Do you hate women or something?”
In the closed captions of the chaotic clip she wrote, “This man just took off my wig and kept on walking,” adding, “There’s demons in NY, I swear.”
Ashleigh went on to share that she’d sustained trauma to her neck as a result of the ambush, saying she planned to take legal action against the brute.
In a separate 2018 incident of a similar nature, authorities arrested a California man for snatching off the wigs of three Orthodox Jewish women in North Hollywood.
So far, it is unknown whether the man responsible for Ashleigh’s hair removal was indeed under investigation or taken into custody.
Per a post published to her TikTok Tuesday, Ashleigh wrote, “I am unable to say more at the moment as I move forward legally.”
“I appreciate everyone who identified, called and emailed!.”
