Erin Andrews shouted out Leon Draisaitl’s fiancée, Celeste Desjardins, after the Oilers star signed an eight-year, $112 million contract extension.
During the latest installment of her and Charissa Thompson’s “Calm Down” podcast, the Fox Sports NFL reporter emphasized that the actress is “so hot” while discussing their girl crushes.
“I’ve never met Leon Draisaitl, who just signed a huge contract with the Edmonton Oilers, or his wife, but she is so hot,” Andrews said of the unmarried couple.
“[Andrews’ husband] Jarret [Stoll] was literally just saying, ‘Did you see Draisaitl signed an eight-year deal?’ and I go, ‘Wow, he’s rich and has a hot wife, what a life!
“She is so good looking. I don’t know what nationality she is. She is I would assume European, but wow. She is so hot.”
Draisaitl is entering the final season of an eight-year, $68 million contract he signed with the Oilers in August 2017.
The 28-year-old forward signed an eight-year extension worth $14 million per season, the team announced Tuesday.
“So incredibly proud of you baby,” Desjardins, who is also a model, wrote on her Instagram Story, including a photo of the couple on the ice at Rogers Place. “I’ve watched you pour so much love and hard work in everything you do.
“Your commitment and passion for the game is unmatched. I can’t wait to see what the next 8 years has in store for you. So happy to be on this journey with you and get the privilege to call Edmonton home for the next 8 years.”
It came a month after Draisaitl and Desjardins got engaged in July.
“The easiest yes. I love you forever,” the model wrote on Instagram at the time, including photos of Draisaitl proposing by the ocean in Mallorca, Spain.
Desjardins, who is signed with Ford Models, has appeared in a number of Hallmark productions.
Andrews and Thompson’s podcast was titled, “I Have a Girl Crush.”
They also gushed over Kylie Kelce, the wife of former Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce, and Derek Jeter’s wife, Hannah Jeter, who is a model.
