How to Watch ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’: Time, Disney+ Streaming Bundle

Baby, let the games begin.

Starting tonight, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+.

Just three days after the surprise announcement of her upcoming 11th album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” Swift surprised fans with another announcement — the “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” concert film would be heading to Disney+ in just a few short weeks.

It follows a digital release on rental platforms like Prime Video, but the film has since been pulled from those retailers in advance of this Disney+ release.

The movie broke records during its October theatrical run, becoming the highest worldwide-grossing concert/documentary film ever; it’s only fitting, considering the tour itself is the first concert tour to gross over $1 billion.

Below, we’ve compiled everything you need to know about “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” from release time to why we’re calling this one “Taylor’s Version.”

When will ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ be on Disney+?

While originally announced to debut on Friday, March 15, Swift took to Instagram to reveal that the release date had moved up to Thursday, March 14 (that’s today!).

What makes this version of ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ “Taylor’s Version?”

Put simply? It’s just more songs.

When “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was initially released in theaters, the film omitted four songs from the core setlist, and another four “surprise songs” filmed over the course of three nights (only two surprise songs made the theatrical cut).

For Swift’s birthday in December 2023, an updated cut of the film that included “Wildest Dreams,” “Long Live,” and “The Archer” was released in theaters.

Now, “Taylor’s Version” hits Disney+ with the three new songs from the birthday cut, plus the final original cut song, “Cardigan,” and the four omitted surprise songs from the acoustic sets: “Maroon,” “I Can See You,” “You Are in Love,” and “Death By A Thousand Cuts.”

How long is ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ movie?

Per Disney+, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” has a run time of 3 hours and 31 minutes. That’s about 40 minutes longer than the theatrical cut that ran 2 hours and 49 minutes.

Will ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ be on Netflix?

No, it will not be, but we understand why you might think it will be — “Reputation Stadium Tour” and “Miss Americana” were both released on Netflix, after all.

When Disney+ won the bidding war to stream “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” they did so by scoring exclusive rights to the concert film, meaning Disney+ is the only streamer that’ll carry it (and when you’re done, you can check out “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions,” also streaming exclusively at the House of Mouse).
