I tried to dress my twin babies as mummies for Halloween — it was a bloody failure

Double bubble toil … and tampon?

A mom said she decided to dress her twin babies up like mummies for Halloween, but they turned out looking like “tampons” instead.

Jessica Jovel, a mom-of-three who goes by @Jessicajovel on TikTok, shared a video of the failed costumes that has 990,000 views since being posted last Halloween.

“Thinking about how badly we failed for our twin babies’ first Halloween costume,” she wrote in the video.

The costumes, which are white bandages stained with fake blood, didn’t look the way Jovel anticipated.

“It did not turn out as we expected, I was terrified,” she said.

“The initial idea was for them to be CUTE baby mummies,” she added.

Jovel’s followers were quick to comment on the mishap.

“Little tampons! So cute,” one wrote.

“Sooo cute but mummies don’t usually have blood on them😅,” said another.

While some people mistook the baby mummies for tampons, a costume from 2017 could’ve used one or two.

These babies are meant to be mummies, but some think they look like tampons.

Women’s lifestyle website HelloGiggles posted a video of a surprise period pants Halloween costume.

The costume consists of red stained pants, a dash of glitter and a whole lot of wrath from social media.
