Internet grossed out by terrible Christmas pizza: ‘An unspeakable violation’

Mamma mia!

A viral post has Redditors retching after one clueless user posted a photo of a Christmas-themed cheese pizza topped with ham, Brussels sprouts, gravy, apple sauce and other items that have no business anywhere near a proper pie.

“Got drunk last night and ordered a Christmas themed pizza,” the U.K-based gutter gourmand wrote, alongside a picture of the half-eaten abomination, announcing to a grossed-out internet that they were about to tuck into the leftovers.

The culinary catastrophe evoked a ravenous response from hundreds of users, many of them disturbed to learn of the existence of something so disgusting.

“Pure filth,” declared another. “Have committed an unspeakable violation.”

Users called it an ‘abomination.’

“It looks like a punishment for something,” quipped someone else.

“It looks like post-Christmas Dinner [vomit],” added another.

“I never want to hear anything negative about pineapple on pizza again,” one user said.

The cheeky original poster later returned to Reddit to triumphantly announce that they had successfully eaten the rest of the pizza.

Hundreds of horrified users commented on the Reddit post.

“Leftovers finished. Hangover the same, if not worse,” the user wrote. “Feeling pretty normal, think the vitamins from the apple sauce really helped.”

The confused Christmas enthusiast hastened to clarify that they hadn’t made the putrid pizza themselves — it had been ordered from Franco Manca, a popular pizza chain with dozens of stores across the United Kingdom. The company started out as a market stall in Brixton, London, in 2008.

“I wish I was that creative,” the poster joked. “As stated, this was ordered from Franco Manca, part of their Christmas menu — they also do a beef one.”

Hard pass.
