TV Land’s most proudly Jewish stars will party like it’s 1948 at the Jewish Media Awards at Lincoln Center Tuesday night – celebrating positive depictions of the Chosen People on the small screen.

Semitic celebs like Patricia Heaton, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Michael Rapaport will present awards to TV’s most authentically Jewish streaming TV shows – including Netflix’s “Fauda” and “Jewish Matchmaking,” and FX’s “The Patient.”

“Since October 7, Jews have been getting beaten down on social media and in mainstream media, constantly being told how awful we are,” said event organizer Allison Josephs, who modeled the splashy night after the NAACP Image Awards and GLAAD Media Awards.

“The Jewish Media Awards will be a chance to bask in the richness of our heritage. It will be a night to celebrate the greatness of the Jewish people.”

Josephs is the founder of Jew in the City, a nonprofit whose core mission is combating negative depictions of religious Jews in popular culture.

Negative Jewish stereotypes, particularly in film, are an age-old problem that persists to this day, Josephs said.

Recent Netflix hits like the movie “You People” and the rom-com series “Nobody Wants This” took heat for their stereotypical Jewish characters.

“Celebrating great Jewish representation with Hollywood gives us the opportunity to make a tangible impact on how Hollywood depicts Jews moving forward,” Josephs said.

Billed as “The Greatest Night in Jewish Representation,” the balabatish bacchanal will also honor prominent Jewish professionals who’ve proudly displayed their Judaism at risk of antisemitic hate.
