While there’s a lot of positivity and momentum among the United States men’s soccer team now, there’s a case to be made that Mexico’s soccer team and its fans are feeling even better.
This is because Mexico went 3-0 in its three group-stage matches in the 2026 World Cup, as it secured a decisive 3-0 victory against Czechia on June 24.
Most soccer fans knew who beloved goalkeeper Guillermo (aka Memo) Ochoa was heading into this year’s tournament. But they will certainly know who Julián Quiñones is afterward.
This is because the 29-year-old forward has risen to the occasion during the group stage, scoring two goals in Mexico’s three games. One of these goals was an impressive touch against Czechia that doubled Mexico’s lead.
While Quiñones was the beneficiary of a somewhat lucky bounce, the bottom line is that he found the back of the net, and that’s all that Mexico fans care about.
Nobody is happier for Quiñones than his wife, Ana Gabriela. These two were married in 2023 and also have a daughter together.
Ana Gabriela Quiñones does a good job of being active on social media. And one Instagram Story post she made before Mexico’s game on Wednesday is turning heads.
The photo was a simple selfie of Ana Gabriela Quiñones in which she’s wearing a revealing gray shirt. The post didn’t have a caption, but it definitely didn’t need one to attract attention.
One would imagine that Quiñones and his wife will gain followers after they they produced on Wednesday.
