Man’s embarrassing goals list goes viral after losing phone at ski resort: ‘Have 3 girls on roster’

Australia’s biggest ski resort has confirmed a lost phone that gained social media attention for having an interesting list of life goals as its wallpaper has been reunited with its owner, despite Aussies speculating no one would own up to it.

A photo of the phone, which was located “halfway down” Front Valley at Perisher in New South Wales, Australia’s Snowy Mountains, was posted on Facebook by the person who found it – giving fellow skiers a good laugh.

One even declared it the “post of the season.”

The lock screen picture on the lost phone contained eight bullet points with goals the phone owner allegedly wanted to achieve – from getting good marks at university to getting a motorbike, not getting a haircut for three months, and getting “jacked” at a specific 87kg.

While some Aussies joked they would be too embarrassed to admit the phone was theirs, Perisher told news.com.au the owner was happy to claim it.

“Fortunately, we were able to return the phone to its rightful owner and we wish this guest all the best with achieving his goals,” Perisher Ski Resort marketing manager Maddi Ventura said.

“While we don’t know the guest’s reaction to the virality of the phone, we can confirm he was happy to be reunited with his phone. Just a reminder to hold on to your belongings on the slopes!”

The goals list, which was first published on the Facebook group “Perisher Snow Lovers”, baffled snow enthusiasts. It read:

• 1. Get jacked and be at 87 kgs

• 2. Quit all nicotine
• 3. Have $25,000 in my bank account
• 4. Have a motorbike
• 5. Getting better at fighting
• 6. Get good marks at uni
• 7. Have three girls on the roster
• 8. Don’t get a haircut for 3 months

“No one will want to own up to owning this phone,” one person predicted.

“I’d be almost embarrassed to claim the lost phone … almost,” said another.

“$25K and have 3 girls on the roster lol tell him he’s dreaming,” one teased.

The top comment read: “3 girls on the roster? You sure do wanna get better at fighting!!!”

“Whoever claims this girls … run!!” one person warned.

Others applauded the phone owner for their goals, with one person commenting: “They are phenomenal goals, nothing to be embarrassed about here.”

“Oh to be young again to have such life goals,” said another.

The team at Perisher decided to make their own list in response, swapping out quitting nicotine for quitting tobogganing, and not getting a haircut to not getting a goggle tan.

“It’s always nice to have goals, so we were inspired to create our own here at Perisher. There’s nothing like shredding with the girls on a bluebird day – we’ve had a lot lately!” Ms. Ventura said.
