This cake is pretty crumby — and social media users agree.

A mom named Sonja posted a video on TikTok detailing her experience buying a movie-themed cake from Texas grocery chain HEB.

She called the cake — which was meant to be a Minion from the movie “Despicable Me” — “the ugliest f–king thing I’ve ever seen.”

She explained that the cake was for her son’s birthday the following day.

Even though it was “so not” what she asked for, she said it was “fixable,” so she just “took it.”

In the video, which has more than 15 million views and surpassed 39,000 comments since being posted, she showed her followers the reference image she gave the baker.

She explained that the baker asked her if she wanted the cake to have a colored ombre, to which she replied, “No. Straight blue. Straight yellow.”

She also asked for “swirls” as well as circles for the Minion’s goggles.

She then shared footage of the cake she got from HEB.

“What the f–k is this? Where are my swirls?” she lamented in the video.

“Why is it ombre? Why is it green? What happened to the goggle circle?”

Her followers were similarly horrified by the cake’s decoration.

“Forget the swirls……..where’s the minion?????’ one wrote.

“when you said “it’s totally fixable” i was not expecting THAT,” another added.

“I swear I was thinking it can’t be that bad, but omg that was 1000 times worse than I could have imagined. I’m a cake Decorator and I’m sorry,” a third added.

In a follow-up video that has more than 2 million views, she explained why she didn’t request the grocer to fix the cake.

The cake did not come out the way she expected.

She showed her followers that she and her family brainstormed on how to make the cake better and eventually fixed it by adding a goggles cake topper and a ribbon around the middle to cover up the “ugly green ombre.”

Her followers applauded her efforts but told her to get her money back.

“It looks better but I still would’ve got a refund,” one said.

“GIRL yes glad you fixed it but you should get a refund,” another added.

The Post reached out to both Sonja and HEB for comment,

A spokesperson from HEB said they “strive to provide quality products to our customers and to ensure they are satisfied with their purchases” in a statement provided to Insider.

“We understand the customer’s frustration and apologize for the inconvenience,” they added. “We are working to make things right.”
