Have you ever struggled to find a way to upgrade your home while keeping your children happy?
Most parents would agree that entertaining their youngsters inside can be challenging at best.
So when one woman shared her friend’s front room upgrade, it sent TikTok into overdrive.
The 10-second clip shows the British mom walking through the house, opening a door and entering the room.
On one side shows regular furniture, with a TV and a credenza against the wall.
Turning to the right, however, a colorful soft play area takes up half the space, with padded mats on the floors and giant areas to hide.
Complete with a ball pit, ropes to hang from, foam rollers and multiple climbing levels, the living room could easily be mistaken for a children’s play center.
“My friend’s front room is better than your friend’s front room,” the caption quipped.
Very impressed by her pal’s dedication to playtime, she labeled her as a “cool mom.”
The woman later explained how her friend got her hands on such an awesome jungle gym for her home.
“Someone on Facebook was selling it,” she said before clarifying that it was originally in the back garden.
The video, which has amassed over two million views, has garnered mixed reactions online.
Some believe that the play center is a bit “excessive” for a home, but others are wishing they had something similar as a child.
“This would have been a dream when I was a kid!” wrote a jealous TikToker.
“People who do this must really like their kids,” joked another.
“If I had the space, I’d do it in a heartbeat for my kids,” shared one person.
While the play center looked fantastic, some questioned how long the kids would be interested in playing with it.
“I bet her kids still say they’re bored,” laughed one.
“My kid would play on it once for 15 mins and then never again,” another chimed in.
One person questioned what will happen once the kids get too old to play.
The solution was simple: “You sell it onto the next awesome mumma /daddio,” the woman responded.
